The SR1000EWN is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was produced in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR1000EWN features neck-through-body construction with a walnut top on mahogany wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. The headstock features a veneer to match the body. Components include a pair of Bartolini custom pickups, a Mono-Rail IV bridge, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh machine heads. Controls consist of one balancer, one volume, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid range boost/cut, mid range freq and Vari-Mid III Hi-Fi 3-Band system equalizer.
The SR1005EWN and SR1006EWN are five-string and six-string versions. The SR1000EFM, SR1000EBG and SR1000EZW are a similar models with, respectively, flamed maple, bubinga and zebra wood tops.
