The SR1000EFM is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was produced in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR1000EFM features neck-through-body construction with with a flame maple top on maple wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of USA Bartolini custom pickups, independent Mono-Rail IV bridges, a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band equalizer, cosmo black hardware, and Gotoh tuning machines. Controls consist of a balancer, a volume, stacked treble boost/cut and bass boost/cut, and stacked mid range boost/cut and mid range frequency selector.
The SR1005EFM and SR1006EFM are five-string and six-string versions. The SR1000EWN, SR1000EBG and SR1000EZW are a similar models with, respectively, walnut, bubinga and zebra wood tops.
