The SR1000CT1 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1987 (first year of production of SR Series). It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR1000CT1 features a Figured maple / mahogany / figured maple body bolted to a super slim maple neck with the typical "lip" at the end of the neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, an elegant curvy body. Passive pickups built by DiMarzio for Ibanez USA, as well as the active Power Curve electronics with two differently strong boosts and a control for the processed frequency ensured the good sound on the amp. Gotoh supplied the high-quality hardware.

The SR1000CT1 was offered only in 1987.

The SR1000E is a related model with Alder body.
