The SJCRG1 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom series. The SJCRG1 was a spot model created for and sold exclusively by Japanese musical instrument retailer Shimamura Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. It was also known as the SJCRG-1 or the "Timeless Timber" model.

The neck of the SJCRG1 is made from virgin maple harvested from trees 500 to 1500 years old. This wood comes from the Great Lakes region of the US from trees and logs which have been submerged in lakes or reservoirs for 70 to 250 years.[1]

The SJCRG1 features neck-through construction with Honduran mahogany body wings with a AAAA quilted maple top attached to an old growth maple neck with a 24-fret Honduran rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers and a "Custom Made" plaque at the 24th fret. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a PAF Pro humbucker at the bridge, a single-coil sized Fast Track 2 rails humbucker in the neck and a single coil in the middle, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The SJCRG1 was produced only in 2001. It's believed that only 10 examples were produced.
