The SIX7FDFM is a seven-string S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The SIX7FDFM features a a flamed top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with coil-split functionality, a Gibraltar hard-tail bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
For 2018 a new maple and purpleheart neck with luminescent side dots was introduced.
The SIX6FDFM is a similar six-string model.
The SIX7FDFM was available starting in July 2016.[1] It was discontinued after 2018.
