The SIX6FDFM is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in mid-2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The SIX6FDFM features a flamed maple top with white binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with no inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with a coil-split toggle, a hard-tail bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
For 2018 a new maple and purpleheart neck with luminescent side dots was introduced. For 2019 the mahogany body was replaced with nyatoh.
The SIX6DFM is a similar model with a tremolo bridge and the SIX7FDFM is a similar seven-string model.
The SIX6FDFM was available starting in July 2016.[1] It was discontinued after 2019.
