The SIX6DFM is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in mid 2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The SIX6DFM features a flamed top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a 24-fret ebony fretboard with a reversed headstock, binding and no inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with a coil-split toggle, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
For 2018 a new maple and purpleheart neck with luminescent side dots was introduced.
The SIX6FDFM is a similar model with a fixed bridge.
The SIX6FDFM was available starting in July 2016.[1] It was discontinued after 2018.
