The SGT122 is a Sage series twelve string acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was produced in China and was among the initial models in the Sage line-up. Some production in Indonesia began in 2012.
The SGT122 features a dreadnought body constructed of a laminated spruce top with ivory and black binding on laminated mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The round soundhole has a pearloid rosette and a large vintage-style red tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 25½" (648mm) scale 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and white dot position markers. Components include an Ivorex II saddle in a rosewood bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, an Ivorex II nut, and chrome Ibanez Smooth Tuner AS tuning machines.
For 2009 the neck profile was changed.
The SGT120 is a six string version.
The SGT122 was discontinued after 2012.
