The SC3120 is an S Classic series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as an early example of the upscale J Custom line.
The S Classic body is described as a marriage of the S series and the classic Radius. S Classic models feature fixed bridges.
The SC3120 features a mahogany body with a black walnut top with abalone purfling. This body is bolted to a 25.1" (638mm) scale maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with large abalone oval position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickup with gold covers mounted in wooden pickup rings, a Shortstop II fixed bridge, a bone nut, wooden knobs and truss rod cover and Gotoh tuning machines.
The SC3020 is a similar model with a kokurodua (afrormosia) top.
The SC3120 was produced only in 1998. It's believed that just twelve examples were produced.
