The SAT30 is a type of non-locking, two-pivot synchronized tremolo bridge sourced on Ibanez guitars. It was introduced in 2001.
Features of the SAT30 include easy single-screw adjustable string height, locking saddles and adjustable arm torque.[1]
The SAT30 appeared primarily on SA series guitar models. It was later replaced by the SAT30S. The "SAT" in the name stands for "Satellite".[2]
The SAT30 was discontinued after 2005.
