The SAS300 is an Artstar Solid Top series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2013. It was made in China.
The SAS300 is a sort of hybrid of the semi-hollow AS200 and the full-hollow AF200. It features a full-hollow, double cutaway body design with a solid spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls and a Tri-sound switch for the neck, a Tune-o-matic style ART-1 bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, a bakelite pickguard with rosewood veneer, rosewood knobs, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
