The SAR250QM is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It is a spot model which was produced in South Korea by Cort and presumably sold exclusively by Japanese musical instrument retailer Shimamura Musical Instruments Co., Ltd..
The SAR250QM features a quilted maple top with cream binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and abalone and acrylic split block position markers. Components include a Tune-o-matic style Full Tune II fixed bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece and dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls.
The AR250 was a similar regular production model with a flamed maple top, dot fretboard inlays and different pickups. The SAR300G is a similar spot model with a solid black finish and different pickups.
