The SA2160FM is an SA series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2007. It was made in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line. It replaced the SA2120FM with the primary difference being the pickup configuration.
The SA2160FM features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body mated with a set-in maple and bubinga neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special inlay only at the twelfth fret. Components include an SAT Pro non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge, DiMarzio IBZ pickups with a triple coil True Duo humbucking pickup at the bridge and a pair of single-coils in the middle and neck positions, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The SA2120FM is a related model with a dual humbucker pickup configuration.
