The S970WRW is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in mid 2013. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The S970WRW features a rosewood top with binding on an African mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga Wizard Premium neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white binding and offset dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single coil, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The S970CW is a similar model with a claro walnut veneer top, a maple and walnut neck, and a ZR tremolo bridge with ball-bearing pivot.
The S970WRW was discontinued in 2017.
