The S6570SK is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It is produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The S6570SK features a silky oak (a.k.a. lacewood[1]) top with white binding on a mahogany body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a single-coil sandwiched between two humbuckers, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2018 the wood species of the body was specified as African mahogany. For 2019 the marbled rosewood fretboard was swapped for Macassar ebony.
The S6570Q is a similar model with a quilted maple top. The S6527SKFX is a related 7-string model with a pair of humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.
