The S61AL is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the metal focused Axion Label line.
The S61AL features a flamed maple top with white and black multibinding on a sculpted nyatoh body bolted to a panga panga and walnut Nitro Wizard neck with a luminescent headstock logo and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets and white step offset dot position markers. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, dual Fishman Fluence Modern active humbucking pickups with coil-split capability, locking Gotoh tuning machines, and Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins.
The S71AL is a seven string version. The S671ALB is a related model with a solid nyatoh body, a middle single-coil pickup and black hardware.
