The S5527 is a seven string S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The S5527 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and offset dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge 7 double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The S5527QFX is a similar model with a quilted maple top and a fixed bridge.
The S5527 was discontinued after 2016.
