The S5470BW is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The S5470BW was among the first S series models with 24 frets; previous S series guitars had 22 frets. It also marked the consolidation of Prestige production in Japan as the S Prestige models for the prior three years had been produced in South Korea.

The S5470BW features a burl olive walnut top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components included Ibanez pickups with a pair of Hot Grinder humbuckers flanking a Short Tracer single-coil, a ball-bearing pivot ZR2 double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines.

The S5470F is a similar model with a flame maple top. The S5470 is a similar model without an exotic top.

The S5470BW was discontinued after 2008.
