The S520 is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2000. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The S520 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Components include Ibanez V1 & V2 humbucking pickups, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The S520WNF originally had dot position markers, but for 2001 these were replaced with wave inlays which are exclusive to the S series. It was offered in Europe with a Deep Violet Flat paint and in the USA with a Walnut Flat finish.

The S570 was a similar model with an added middle single coil pickup.

The S520 was discontinued after 2001 although the Prestige S1220 introduced in 2002 is quite similar.
