The S420L is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2010.
The S420L features a sculpted mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers only at the 12th fret. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups, a ZR double locking tremolo bridge with ball bearing pivot and a removable ZPS2 tuning stabilizer.
The S420L is the only production left-handed model to employ the ZR tremolo. The S420 is a right-handed version.
