The S4170AB is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was made in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line. It is based on the 2006 limited edition S20065 model.
The S4170AB features neck through body construction with an ash burl top with abalone purfling and cream binding on mahogany body wings attached to a maple and bubinga Wizard II Prestige neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and special inlay at the twelfth fret. Components include DiMarzio IBZ pickups with a pair of humbuckers mounted in metal pickup rings flanking a single-coil and the ball-bearing pivot ZR double locking tremolo bridge with removable ZPS2 tuning stabilizer.
The S4170AB was discontinued after 2008 with all Prestige production returning to Japan.
