The S2170FB is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It was made in South Korea by Cort as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The S2170FB features a decorative bubinga top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Wizard II Prestige neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and a special inlay only at the twelfth fret. Components include DiMarzio IBZ pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a ZR double locking tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point tuning stabilizer, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The S2170FW is a similar model with a burl poplar top. The S2170SE is a similar model with a swirled ebony top.
The S2170FB was discontinued after 2008 along with all of the South Korean-made Prestiges due to the introduction of a new Japanese-made line.
