The S1540FM is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2000. It is part of the high end Prestige line. It replaced the S540FM.

The S1540FM features a mahogany body with a flame maple top mated to a maple and bubinga Wizard Prestige neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups, a locking nut and a double locking tremolo bridge.

The S1540QS is a similar model with a quilted sapele top and the S1540QM is another similar model with a quilted maple top.

In 2001 a new inlay style was introduced. The S1540FM was discontinued after 2002.
