The S1520 is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1999. It is part of the high end Prestige line and one of the first S series Prestige models.

The S1520 features a mahogany body mated to a maple and bubinga Wizard Prestige neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with a special S inlay at the 12th fret. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups, a locking nut and a double locking tremolo bridge.

A similar model with a decorative bubinga top is known as the S1520FB, although it is referred to simply as the S1520 in some catalogs.

The S1520 was discontinued after two years in production, but the S1520FB lived on for two additional years.
