The RX170 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1999. It is part of the entry level RX series.

The RX170 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a color-matched headstock and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups.

This particular model was sold only in Japan and only in 1999. Other RX170s were available in the European and American markets. The RX180G has a flame maple top and gold hardware.
