The RX170D is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1996. It was made in Korea as part of the entry level RX series.
The RX170D features an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a TZ synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez Powersound pickups with a pair of humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking a single-coil.
The RX170D replaced the RX170 with only minor changes. It was discontinued after 1997.
