The RS900 is a Roadster series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1978. It was produced in Japan by the FujiGen factory in Matsumoto.

The RS900 features a double-cutaway solid ash body bolted to a rock maple neck with tuned response, a 21-fret rock maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock. The instrument is equipped with a Super 4 single-coil pickup with B-2 Tone system, an Accu-Cast B bridge with brass saddles and 19mm string spacing, a brass nut, Nichrome plating hardware and Hercules B tuning machines.

The RS800 is a related model with mahogany body and flamed maple top.

The RS900 was discontinued after 1980.
