The RS721 is an Roadster series 32" short scale solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1982. It was made at the Terada Plant in Japan.

The RS721 features a double-cutaway solid ash body bolted to a maple neck with volute reinforcement, a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock. The instrument is equipped with Super P-4 pickups and B-I bridge with brass saddles and 19mm string spacing, a bone nut, chrome hardware and Smooth Tuner B II tuning machines.

The RS721 was offered only in 1982.
