The RS405 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983. It was made in Japan as part of the Roadstar Deluxe line.

The RS405 features a birch top on a sculpted alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a trio of Ibanez Super 6 single coil pickups mounted in a white pickguard with the bridge askew, a Hard Rocker synchronized tremolo bridge, Sure Grip II control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.

The RS505 is a related model with a birdseye maple top and different pickups and without the pickguard.

The RS405 was discontinued after 1984.
