The RS315 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983. It was made in Japan as part of the Roadstar Deluxe line.
The RS315 features a flame maple top with creme binding on a basswood slab body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a single Ibanez V2 humbucking pickup with creme bobbins mounted at the bridge in a plastic pickup ring, a Hard Rocker synchronized tremolo bridge, Sure Grip II control knobs, Smooth Tuner II tuning machines and Dead End strap pins.
The RS335 is a similar model which adds a single coil pickup at the neck and has a rosewood fretboard.
