The RS240 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985.

The RS240 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a Ibanez pickups with a Super 70 humbucker mounted in a black plastic pickup ring at the bridge and a pair of direct-mounted V7 single-coils in the middle and neck positions, a Powerocker synchronized tremolo bridge, a graphite nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and a side-mounted output jack.

The RS230 and RS320 are similar models with different pickup configurations.

The RS240 was discontinued after 1985.
