The RS230 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985.

The RS230 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include three Ibanez direct-mounted V7 single coil pickups with the bridge pickup mounted askew, a Powerocker synchronized tremolo bridge, a graphite nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and a side-mounted output jack.

The RS240 and RS320 are similar models with different pickup configurations. The RS135 is a related model with different pickups mounted in a pickguard and a maple fretboard.
