The RS140 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985.

The RS140 features a flat basswood double cut body with radiused edges bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups mounted in a black pickguard with a Super 70 humbucker at the bridge and Super 5 single-coils in the neck and middle positions, a Powerocker synchronized tremolo bridge, knurled Tek Grip control knobs, a mini-toggle pickup phase switch and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.

The RS140L is a left-handed version. The RS141 is a similar model with a color matched pickguard which was part of the special Comet Series II.

The RS140 was offered only in 1985.
