The RR150 is a Rocket Roll series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983. It was made in Japan as part of the X series of pointy guitars. It replaced the RR50, which has a fixed bridge.
The RR150 features a vee-shaped basswood body with a birch top and creme binding bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a single Ibanez V2 humbucking pickup mounted at the bridge in a plastic pickup ring, a synchronized tremolo bridge, rubberized Sure Grip II knobs, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and Dead End strap pins.
The DT150 is a similar model with a Destroyer body shape. The RR550 is a related model with a flamed maple top, a second pickup and a rosewood fretboard with block inlays on a shorter scale set-in neck.
