The Ibanez RGTHRG1 is an RG series model featuring visual artist H. R. Giger's painting NY City XIX as a special graphic finish. It was one of the two first products of the collaboration between Ibanez and Giger, the other being the ICHRG2. It was revealed at the 2005 Winter NAMM. The guitar itself is based on the RGT42DX, a neck-thru model with sharktooth inlays.
