The RGTH57 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It is a signature guitar of Italian guitarist Davide Civaschi (a.k.a. Cesareo) who is best known for his work with Elio e le Storie Tese.
The RGTH57 features neck through body construction with basswood wings attached to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with custom position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups mounted with pickup rings and an Edge Pro II double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut. It was produced in Korea by Cort.
The design was based off of Cesareo's own custom RGT3120, although with many changes to make this signature model more affordable. The distinctive design, which carries over onto the back of the guitar, was conceived by design firm H-57 which was founded by Cesareo's brother, Matteo Civaschi.
The RGTH57 was initially offered in 2006 with a custom Cesareo Yellow finish with a production of 78 examples. For 2007 a red model was offered with production limited to 44 pieces.
The RGH57 is another Cesareo signture model which appeared a few years later.
