The RGT6EX2, also known as the RGT6EX outside of Japan, is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was originally made in South Korea; for 2009 production moved to Indonesia.

The RGT6EX2 features neck-through body construction with mahogany body wings, EMG pickups and the Edge III tremolo.

Both basswood bodied and mahogany bodied RGT6EX models exist. In Japan, the basswood bodied one was known as the RGT6EX and the mahogany bodied one as the RGT6EX2. In Europe both guitars are known as the RGT6EX.
