The RGT6EX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006.

The RGT6EX features a neck-through-body construction with basswood (later mahogany) body wings attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include dual, active EMG humbucking pickups and an Edge III double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut. Some early 2006 models had an Edge Pro II tremolo rather than an Edge III.

Both basswood bodied and mahogany bodied of the RGT6EX exist. In Japan, the basswood bodied one was known as the RGT6EX and the mahogany bodied one as the RGT6EX2. In Europe both guitars are known as the RGT6EX.
