The RGT320Z is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It replaced the RGT320Q.
The RGT320Z features a neck through body construction with mahogany wings and a AAA quilted maple top on a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small abalone dot position markers. Components include the new Edge Zero tremolo with removable tuning stabilizer, dual DiMarzio IBZ humbucking pickups and Gotoh tuning machines.
In 2009, a new version was introduced with a full maple top that also covers the neck wood that runs through the body. Only the US models kept the original split top style with the full neck visible.
The RGT320Z was discontinued in 2010 along with all other neck-through Prestige models.
