The RGT220H is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RGT220H features neck-through-body construction. It replaced the RGT2020 with some minor changes, including a new five-piece maple and wenge neck (instead of maple and bubinga). All neck-through RG models got this new neck in 2005, including the new RGT220A and RGT320Q.
The RGT220H features mahogany body wings attached to the aforementioned neck which has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio/ Ibanez humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RGT220H was discontinued after 2006 with no direct replacement.
