The RGRT421 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is made in Indonesia and replaces a previous version which has pickup rings and a different output jack.
The RGRT421 features a neck through body construction with nyatoh body wings mated to a maple and walnut Wizard III neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of direct-mounted Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups, an F106 fixed bridge, a mono-unit output jack with integrated metal plate, and die-cast tuning machines.
The RG421 is a related model with a bolt-on neck and traditional headstock.
