The RGR8620 is a limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2022 as an exclusive model for German retailer Session. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The RGR8620 features basswood body with AAA flamed maple top bolted to a maple and wenge asymmetric super wizard neck with a 24-fret bound macassar ebony fingerboard with abalone & mother of pearl tree of life inlays and luminlay side dots and a reverse headstock. Components include a set of DiMarzio's pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh SG381 machine heads, Gotoh Strap lock pins and cosmo black hardware and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The RGR8620 was limited to 12 units.
