The RGR652AHB is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line.
The RGR652AHB features an ash body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white binding and dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2019 the RGR652AHB was discontinued in all markets except the USA and the rosewood fretboard was replaced with Macassar ebony.
The RGR652AHBL is a left handed version. The RGR652AHBF is a similar model with a fixed bridge. The RG652AHM is a related model with an a maple fretboard, a standard headstock and different pickups.
The RGR652AHB was discontinued after 2019, but was reintroduced for 2022. It was again discontinued after 2022.
