The RGR5227MFX is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line.

The RGR5227MFX features an ash top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a reverse headstock and a birdseye maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, offset mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Bare Knuckle Brute Force 7 humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II-7 fixed bridge with through-body string routing and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RGR5220M is a similar six string model with a tremolo bridge.
