The RGR5221 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line.

The RGR5221 features an ash top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a reverse headstock and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, offset mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Bare Knuckle Brute Force humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines.

The RGR5220M is a similar model with a double locking tremolo bridge and a birdseye maple fretboard. The RGR5227MFX is a similar seven string model with a birdseye maple fretboard.
