The RGIX28FEQM is an eight string RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal focused Iron Label line.

The RGIX28FEQM features a quilted maple top with abalone purfling and creme binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut 27" scale Nitro Wizard neck with an ebony fingerboard with creme binding and no inlays. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, dual active EMG [[[humbucking pickup]]s and a kill switch.

The RGIR28FE is similar except without the quilted maple top and ebony fretboard. Similar six-string (RGIX20FEQM) and seven-string (RGIX27FEQM) models were also produced.

The RGIX28FEQM was discontinued after 2015.
