The RGIT28FE is an eight string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal focused "Iron Label" line.
The RGIT28FE features neck-thru construction with ash body wings mated to a graphite reinforced maple and walnut neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard with no inlays. Components include a fixed bridge; dual, active EMG humbucking pickups and a kill switch.
The RGIT20FE and RGIT27FE are similar six and seven string versions.
