The RGIB6 is an RG series baritone solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The RGIB6 features a basswood body with white binding bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Baritone neck with a 28" scale and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include dual EMG active humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge and a kill switch.
For 2018 the neck was replaced with a maple and purpleheart construction and the rosewood fingerboard was replaced with Jatoba.
The RGIB6 is essentially a baritone version of the RGIR20FE.
The RGIB6 was discontinued after 2019 and replaced with the similar RGIB21.
