The RGEW521MZW is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is made in Indonesia.
The RGEW521MZW features a zebra wood top with abalone purfling and cream binding on a nyatoh body bolted to a roasted maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret roasted maple fingerboard with cream binding and black dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups with cream bobbins, a fixed bridge, Ibanez tuners and walnut knobs.
For 2020 the bridge was changed to the F106.
The RGEW521FM is a similar model with a flamed maple top and Macassar ebony fretboard. The RGEW521ZC is a similar model with a ziricote top and Macassar ebony fretboard. The RGEW520MCW is a related model with a figured black walnut top and a tremolo bridge.
