The RGDR3127S is a seven string RGD series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It is a spot model made for sale exclusively by American retailer The Axe Palace and limited to 20 pieces.
The RGD series guitars have a body based on the RG series but with special bevels and deep scoop cuts in the horns. They also have extra long 26½" scale necks.
The RGDR3127S features a basswood body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret birdseye maple fingerboard without inlays. Components include a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers, a Lo Pro Edge 7 double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and stainless steel frets.
The RGD3127 is a similar regular production model with regular headstock.
The RGDR3127S was offered only in 2019.
